We are thrilled to introduce our latest affiliate attorney, Antonio Lorito, hailing from the beautiful city of Catania, Italy! 🇮🇹 Born under the Sicilian sun, Antonio brings a radiant passion for justice and an innovative approach to the legal world.
With a journey starting in October 2016, Antonio kickstarted his legal career by providing invaluable legal assistance at the U.S. Navy – Region Legal Service Office, EURAFSWA Detachment, where he honed his skills in international and military law. 🌍⚖️ In March 2021, Antonio’s path took an inspiring turn as he became an Alternate Judge of the Sports and Federal Court of Appeal, first for the Federazione Italiana Pesistica and later for FISDIR, focusing on Paralympic sports. 🏋️♂️♿
Embracing innovation, in April 2021, Antonio dove into research as a Collaborator at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche – IFAC, exploring the ethical and legal challenges of image biobanks. This role evolved into a Research Fellow position in June 2022, where Antonio’s investigations took on even greater depth. 🧠🔍 Concurrently, his commitment to fairness in the digital age was recognized through his role as a Conciliator for Co.Re.Com of the Regione Autonoma della Sardegna since January 2023, mediating disputes between users and electronic communication operators. 📱💼
Antonio is also fervently active in immigration law, striving to bridge gaps and foster understanding in an ever-connected world. 🌐
